Judicial Investiture

The Honorable Roger Bridgwater, left, was sworn in as judge of the 178th Criminal District Court on August 17 by the Honorable Jon N. Hughes, retired justice of the Court of Appeals and retired judge of the 174th District Court. Joining him was his wife, Mary Ann Bridgwater.

Judicial Portrait Unveiling

A portrait of the Honorable Kathleen S. Stone, former judge of the 55th District Court, was unveiled in a special ceremony on September 14, honoring her service on the bench from 1991-1998. Judge Stone’s son, Josh, helped her unveil the portrait.
