Judicial Portrait

A portrait of the Hon. Carol G. Davies, shown here with her family, was unveiled in a special ceremony on June 17 in her courtroom, the 177th District Court in the Criminal Justice Center. Judge Davies retired from the bench in January.

A portrait of the Hon. Chauncey Sabin, who served as a Harris County judge from 1867-1868, was unveiled in a special ceremony organized by the Hon. Mark Davidson, judge of the 11th District Court. The ceremony was held July 22nd in Judge Davidson’s courtroom. United States District Judge Lynn Hughes, left, assisted Judge Davidson with the unveiling.
