Barrett Reasoner passes the gavel to Mark Kelly.

T. Mark Kelly of Vinson & Elkins LLP took up the gavel as the 2010-2011 president of the Houston Bar Association at the organization's Annual Dinner Meeting, held May 20 at River Oaks Country Club. Kelly succeeded Barrett H. Reasoner of Gibbs & Bruns LLP.

The gala evening was dedicated to the accomplishments of the HBA and its members during the past year. Reasoner presented the President's Awards to outstanding committee and program chairs for 2009-2010, and the HBA honored its emeritus members who reached their 50th year of practice during the last bar year..
