Sorrels Takes Office as HBA President

Randall O. Sorrels, a partner at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Matthews & Friend, took up the gavel as the 2005-2006 president of the Houston Bar Association at the organization’s Annual Dinner Meeting, held May 18th at The Houstonian. Sorrels succeeded Rocky Robinson of Andrews Kurth L.L.P.
The gala evening was dedicated to the accomplishments of the HBA and its members during the past year. Robinson presented the President’s Awards to outstanding committee and program chairs for 2004-2005, and the HBA honored its emeritus members who reached their 50th year of practice during the last bar year.
